The Managing Director, Chris Church took over Social Care Consultancy in 1992, when the office was in Twickenham. She moved the office to SE London where she lived at that time. The Administration office has been based here ever since. As a care worker herself, Chris fully understands the importance of providing our clients with an excellent service and ensuring our care workers feel valued and motivated.

We are a small independent recruitment agency which has been established for 25 years. Our clients are some of the largest Charity organisations within the learning disabilities sector. We are a preferred supplier with most of our clients because of our high standard of recruitment and are privileged to have built long term successful, relationships with them. The majority of our business comes through from personal recommendations. We pride ourselves on providing quality care workers who have a minimum of six months experience with working with Learning Disabilities.

We are very unique in that our care workers do not carry timesheets with them, so you do not have the worry of signing them on a daily basis. We will forward them to you already printed for you to sign the following week.

All our care workers have:

• Mandatory training to recognised national levels.


• Enhanced Criminal record checks (CRB), renewed annually.


• At least two references, obtained from recent employment within the care sector.


• Availability for both short notice assignments or advanced bookings.

Most of our clients are based around the Middlesex and surrounding areas, such as Hounslow, Feltham, Twickenham, Teddington, Greenford, Perivale, Ealing, and Acton, and we are currently expanding into the South London and Surrey region.

All our internal staff are carefully selected and trained to offer a high level of professional service to all our clients, whether you need a shift covered immediately, for one day or you require a care worker for a few months.
